Benefits of Membership
The Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation focuses on the positive - what we can do to make lives better through outdoor recreation. We involve people of all ages and socioeconomic levels in the betterment of our parks and forests, for all. We provide a means for people to give back through donations and volunteerism.
In these tough economic times, as the state budget tightens, the Foundation provides a means to complete projects, host events, and make improvements that might not otherwise happen. Examples of past projects completed by friends groups include playgrounds, picnic pavilions, habitat restoration, gardens, fishing piers, picnic tables, and educational equipment. We have funded programs, organized events, and held celebrations.
Your membership also gives you a louder voice to speak out on behalf of parks and forests by combining your voice with that of other outdoor enthusiasts. Members receive timely information on actions that they can take to support parks and forests.
