Entertainment, Festival
Little Buffalo’s lighted trail is brought to you by Little Buffalo State Park in conjunction with The Friends of Little Buffalo.
Meet Santa, cook hot dogs and marshmallows over an open fire, and enjoy the thousands of lights and holiday displays located along this quarter mile trail in the park’s East Picnic Area. This is a free program but donations are gratefully accepted. All donations stay here at Little Buffalo to provide future programs, festivals, and recreational activities at the park. Please bring a flashlight as the parking areas are dark.
**Heads Up** – This year the full event will run from the 17th to the 20th. During these 4 days you will find Santa, hot dogs, and marshmallows. From the 21st through the 23rd, it is lights only. Santa will not be present on those days – he has to pack his sleigh, of course!
Entertainment on stage will be as follows:
Friday Dec. 17th – Greenwood Swing Choir
Monday, Dec. 20th – Newport Elementary, Middle School, and High School Chorus
Wed. Dec. 22nd – Dixie’s Dance Studio (lights only night)
Well behaved pets are welcome, but please keep in mind that this area can get crowded, and all pets must be restrained at all times. Your pet will likely not enjoy this as much as you will.
Volunteers are needed to help with the hot dog and marshmallow stand and will also be needed prior to the event to help decorate. If you are interested in helping, email [email protected] or call the park office at 717-567-9255 to schedule to volunteer.
