Volunteer Opportunities
After the clean up, the Friends will provide lunch to the volunteers, so we ask that you register before Thursday, October 19th at www.friendsofrbwinter.org/cleanup.
The Friends will be providing gloves, trash bags, and safety vests. Make sure to bring a water bottle and weather-appropriate clothing. As we’ll be working in grassy areas along the road’s edges, insect repellent and checking for ticks afterward is highly recommended!
Meet at the Environmental Learning Center at 9:00 am and then split into groups for the clean up.
Meet the Park Naturalist!
After the Route 192 Clean Up feel free to stop by the Halfway Run Environmental Center from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM where you’ll be able to meet the Park’s new Environmental Educator and check out the displays in the Center. She will be available to answer your questions and to get familiar with park visitors. Light refreshments will be served.
