Volunteer Opportunities
The Friends will be holding the next volunteer workday at the Park from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on June 18th. Meet at the Environmental Learning Center on the east side of the Sand Mountain Road parking area, directions can be found at this link. After meeting up volunteers will split into groups to resurface sections of the Rapid Run Nature Trail. Volunteers will also be needed to remove several species of invasive plants around the park including garlic mustard and multiflora rose.
