Friends of Tuscarora & Locust Lake: Monthly Volunteer Days

Check in with the Friends of Tuscarora & Locust Lake for their monthly meetings and volunteer projects in each park.  The Friends will meet the 4th Saturday of each month from 9am-12 noon, March through October.

The Friends say, “This is a great opportunity for families, scouts, students, or adults who want to help in the park with projects and a great way to earn volunteer hours for your school or scouts!  Each month there is a different project; litter clean-up, playground maintenance, or trail clean-up to name a few. Come on out any 4th Saturday of each month to VOLUNTEER with us!”

• Saturday, April 23^rd – Locust Lake State Park
• Saturday, May 28^th – Tuscarora State Park
• Saturday, June 25^th – Locust Lake State Park
• Saturday, July 23^rd – Tuscarora State Park
• Saturday, August 27^th – Locust Lake State Park
• Saturday, September 24^th – Tuscarora State Park
• Saturday, October 22^nd – Locust Lake State Park
