Summerfest returns Saturday, June 20th!

Celebrate the beginning of summer at Raymond B. Winter State Park’s annual Summerfest! Various educational displays and activites will be available from PA State Parks and Forests, PA Fish and Boat Commission, local environmental organizations and more!

​Try out a kayak or search for the geocaches in the park. Jump in Halfway Run to learn about aquatic animals with Susquehanna Universty or step back in time and visit some of our historical booths to celebrate America’s 250th!

Summerfest Volunteers Needed!

RB Winter’s Summerfest will be on Saturday, June 20th from 12:00 to 4:00 PM! The park will have several displays and hands-on activities on nature- and historical-based programming. Participants will be able to try out kayaking on Halfway Lake, catch animals in Halfway Run, embark on a wilderness scavenger hunt, and more! We will also have guest appearances from Ryan the Bug Man and Smokey the Bear!

We are looking for volunteers who may be interested in assisting with the festival. Please review our needs in the form below and select anything you might be able to help with. Scheduled volunteers will receive an email before the event with details on their needs and when/where to meet park staff.
