Volunteer Opportunities
The annual clean-up at Whipple Dam State Park didn’t happen last year due to the pandemic and the lake’s closure for rehabilitation. So there will be work to be done this year!
The number of volunteers must be limited due to COVID-19 restrictions still in place, so please call ahead if possible to register. Call the park office at: 814-667-1800.
Friends of Greenwood Furnace chair Mike Rubano notes, “Whipple’s looks beautiful now; the lake has been restored, including a new pier, new paved roads etc. If you haven’t seen it yet, please stop by for a visit!”
And join in for a much-needed volunteer day in the picnic area.
