FRIENDS OF PRINCE GALLITZIN STATE PARK REDEDICATE AMPHITHEATER
Camp Hill, PA –Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation (PPFF), announced the re-dedication of Prince Gallitzin State Park’s amphitheater. The project to replace the benches and install a drainage system began in fall of 2015 and was almost entirely funded by the Friends of Prince Gallitzin.
During the July 2 re-dedication, Steve Beals, Chairman of the Friends of Prince Gallitzin, addressed a large group of people who had come to test out the new benches. Steve thanked Park Manager Dennis Miller, the hard-working DCNR staff, the Friends Volunteers, and the many who contributed monetarily to make this project a success.
Many events are planned for the amphitheater at Prince Gallitzin State Park in the coming weeks including concerts, Family Movie Night, and karaoke.
