PENNSYLVANIA PARKS AND FORESTS FOUNDATION CONTINUES TO OFFER FREE VIRTUAL PROGRAMMING

The Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation (PPFF), the only non-profit whose mission is to inspire stewardship of Pennsylvania’s state parks and forests is hosting two virtual webinars on December 21st and December 23rd. The webinars are free to view on the foundation’s Facebook page and YouTube Channel and will stream at noon each day and be available for viewing any time after. The webinars fall under the PPFF’s “Lunch & Learn” series, which aims to provide informative and entertaining virtual experiences related to our state parks and forests.

On Monday December 21st, vice-president Ali Bowling and board director Georgia Kagle, from the Appalachian Audubon Society will share information on birdwatching and feeding in the winter months. Tune in to learn what feathered friends you might find in your back yard and the proper seed to put in your feeders this winter.

The Friends of Washington Crossing Park joins PPFF to share information about their park and programs, including the virtual reenactment of George Washington Crossing the Delaware River that will be available via live stream on the park’s Facebook page on Christmas Day.
