Camp Hill, PA –The Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation (PPFF), the only non-profit whose mission is Pennsylvania’s state parks and forests, will display the winning photos from the 2018 Through the Seasons Photo Contest at Cleve J. Fredricksen Library in Camp Hill. The Best In Show, Critics Choice photo, shown above, was taken by Bruce Walkovich in the Susquehannock State Forest.
The photo tour display at the Fredricksen Library will be available for viewing throughout the month of April in the main entrance lobby. Winning photos from past years are being displayed in the new entrance on Walnut Street until the end of May.
“The images in the gallery capture the beauty and diversity of our state park and forest system,” said Marci Mowery, President of the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation. “Art is one of many ways that visitors enjoy Pennsylvania’s public lands.”
The photos displayed were chosen from more than 400 photographs entered by both amateur and professional photographers. The display includes those awarded 1st and 2nd place by popular vote and a critics’ choice in all categories. Also included in the photo display are 2 Best In Show photos, awarded by overall popular vote and critics’ choice, as well as 1 honorable mention. All photos are taken in a Pennsylvania state park or forest.
