Celebrate Earth Day at Beltzville State Park!
Join the Friends of Beltzville State Park and park staff on Saturday, April 18th, 2026 for a FREE, family-friendly celebration! Enjoy fresh air, nature, and activities for all ages, including hikes, yoga, lollipop hunts, Zumba, and lake cleanups with scuba divers.
Event Highlights:
Scuba Divers for Lake Cleanup | 9:00 AM – Watch divers protect wildlife and keep the lake beautiful.
Gentle Yoga | 10:30–11:30 AM & Family Yoga | 12:00–12:30 PM– Stretch, breathe, and reconnect with nature on the lakeside beach.
American Academy of Canine Water Rescue | 12:00–2:00 PM – Meet the Beltzville Water Dogs, learn dog-handling tips, and enjoy a K9 meet-and-greet.
Earth Day Lollipop Hunt | Sign-In 12:30 PM | Hunt 1:00 PM – A sweet, hands-on activity perfect for kids of all ages.
Earth Day Hike | Sign-In 1:00 PM, Start 2:00 PM** – 2.5 miles of shoreline, shady trails, and sunny meadows. Easy-to-moderate, about 1 hour. Bring sturdy shoes, water, and leashed dogs.
Warm Up with Stretches & Zumba | 1:00 PM– Get moving at the Environmental Interpretive Center (EIC) with fun stretches and an energizing Zumba session.
Extras: Snacks before the hike. Parking at Lot C near the beach. Check Facebook for updates or weather cancellations.
