Volunteer Opportunities
The Friends of Michaux will visit the forest’s old reservoir for a little clean-up spruce up trail work:
Date: Monday, Feb. 20th
Time: meet at 8:45 a.m.; work from 9-3
Location: meet at Caledonia parking lot at the intersection of Rt. 30 and Rt. 233

Goals: clear tree saplings of old tubes
Tools Needed: Box cutters and snips
Other: Hi-vis orange attire, work gloves, sturdy shoes, safety glasses, water, and a lunch
Notes: Participants of all ages are encouraged to attend. The terrain is fairly flat. Participants can expect to walk at least 1-2 miles during the work trip. Work level will be moderate.
