Friends of Mt. Pisgah: Patriots in the Park

The Friends salute the veterans and military service members who give and have given so much to the community. The Friends write:

Patriots in the Park is open to all active servicemen and women, veterans, and their families. The event runs from 10 am to 2 pm, with the program beginning at noon with the flag raising ceremony. We have Kevin Ayers, a marine who was serving during the Beirut bombing (40 years ago) as our keynote speaker this year. Kevin is also a former park employee and one of the initial organizers of Patriots in the Park at Mt. Pisgah. We have a variety of exhibits available for participants and offer light snacks and beverages. The Penn York Highlanders (bagpipes) will also be on hand to perform.
