Earth Day, Volunteer Opportunities
Friends helping Friends! The Friends of Trough Creek & Warriors Path are partners with the Friends of Lake Raystown, especially in the big project of rehabilitation of the Terrace Mountain Trail. As part of that partnership, a work party takes place on April 23rd.
We will meet at Area 5 large parking lot near Ice Mine. Time to meet is promptly at 8:00 a.m. Jacob Hohman, Corps of Engineers, will meet volunteers on the other side of the foot bridge on Old Forge Road. Jacob will have a side by side to carry the equipment. He will have some equipment with him but feel free to bring your own. Volunteers will work back from Trough Creek to Tatman Run where we finished previously. All are welcome to be a part of this and any time you can spare would be appreciated.
