The Friends of Nolde Forest meet once a month to discuss business and plan events and fundraising activities. Interested in joining the Friends of Nolde Forest or learning about the work they do? Meet in McConnell Hall at 5pm the second Wednesday of each month (weather permitting).

This historic park on the outskirts of Gettysburg and South Mountain boasts beautiful scenery and hiking, a playhouse and golf course, and an annual crafts fair that pre-dates their becoming a PPFF chapter. Any chapter that has these opportunities would have to be a fun one to work with, right? Find out on the second Wednesday of every other month.

If you want a busy group, the Friends of Trough Creek & Warriors Path should definitely be what you need. After all, they care for two lovely little parks each with its own needs and charm! The Friends alternate meetings between each of the two parks so be sure to check the Facebook page to see where they'll be on the second Thursday each month.

The plans for trails in the Rothrock are big and imaginative. Join in! The Friends split their meetings between the Patton Township Library and Shavers Creek Environmental Center. Check the website for the schedule.

The Friends of Kings Gap meet at the Mansion on the hill on the third Monday each month. The view is beautiful and the group energetic. It's not mile high so you don't need to worry about altitude sickness. Come on up and join in!

The Friends of Yellow Creek meet at the park's Environmental Learning Center on generally the third Tuesday of each month. From mountain biking to sailing, this active group welcomes all. Check the Facebook page for any changes to the month's meeting schedule.

The park was named for Doc Goddard, the Father of Pennsylvania's state parks, and the FRoGs take their stewardship seriously. All while having fun, of course! From Pioneer Frolic to Music at the Marina, these FRoGs are hopping. You should be, too! Join them at a meeting on the third Tuesday each month.
