Friends of Colonel Denning
December 4, 2015
Colonel Denning State Park, established in 1936, is a 273-acre Pennsylvania state park in Lower Mifflin Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania in the United States. This little gem of a state park boasts a small campground, lake, five miles of hiking trails (with access to the 105-mile long Tuscarora Trail), and the delightful gazebo in this picture. (Thank you to photographer Doug Clifford.)
The busy Friends of Colonel Denning provide firewood and ice to the park’s campers and have used that money for many projects in the park. Join in and make change happen!
