As the photo suggests, Tuesday May 9 will be a Capitol Day to express your support for Pennsylvania’s state parks and forests (as well as the other projects and initiatives that have enjoyed the support of Growing Greener and Key 93 over the years). Budget negotiations are upon us again and the Capitol Day is our opportunity both rally publicly and speak individually with our legislators of our support for these important initiatives.

The schedule for the day includes a rally on the Capitol steps at 10:00 (rain or shine), legislative visits throughout the day, and a legislative cocktail reception at 5:00. If you can participate in the rally (bring your children, PLEASE, they are the future of our parks and forests) or will visit your local representative and senator, please get in touch with us.
