Camp Hill, PA –To engage Pennsylvanian’s in the 50th anniversary of Earth day, the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation (PPFF), the only non-profit whose mission is Pennsylvania’s state parks and forests, released a new website centered on Earth Day 50: www.EarthDayPA50.org
The site hosts a calendar tracking events and activities happening across Pennsylvania in honor of the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day. Environmental readings, actions people can take in their home or office, information on climate change, and more can be found on the site.
A collaborative effort is underway to not just celebrate this monumental year, but to engage the public and conserve our natural resources. The website is a resource for all to get involved with Earth Day not just in April but all year long.
