Michael has had more than his share of bad situations – two suicides he helped to prevent, and a search and rescue investigation he helped to lead.  His willingness to go above and beyond what is required, to work beyond the bounds of his park, and to take extra steps to ensure that cases are handled properly and with dignity in regards to a distraught family make him an outstanding member of the ranger force at Delaware Canal State Park and a credit to the Bureau of State Parks. So, what if you have an emergency and there is no ranger to come to your aid?
