PPFF is pleased to offer four training opportunities this fall. A one-day chainsaw workshop on September 10 will help volunteers who regularly do trail maintenance on public lands achieve the necessary standard to perform that exciting function on state park and forest land.

Three two-day trail maintenance workshops follow on September 21 and 22 at Kings Gap Environmental Education Center, on September 28 and 29 at the Bald Eagle State Forest office, and on October 26 and 26 at Keystone State Park.

The cost for each workshop is minimal, thanks to a Pennsylvania Recreation & Parks Society/Community Conservation Partnership Program Grant provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation & Natural Resources.
