Rob Wonderling wins 2016 Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Award
(Camp Hill, PA) – The Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation (PPFF) today recognized the outstanding stewardship of Pennsylvania’s state park and state forest systems by Rob Wonderling, awarding him the 2016 Cliff Jones Keystone Legacy Award. This year’s award is sponsored by AT&T.

Rob, like many of Cliff Jones’ visionary protégés, understood the relationship between our state parks and forests and the Pennsylvanians who benefit most directly from them. Rob’s professional accomplishments, in both public service and private industry, include six years in the state Senate, author of Talking Pennsylvania: 21 Conversations for the 21st Century, and present position as President of Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.

Wonderling’s leadership qualities model his understanding of the importance of mutual respect, honesty, patience, rationality, and a commitment to listening in solving the problems we face. He has reflected upon changing environmentalism, recognizing the movement from the first Earth Day, and the role of citizens in being a voice for the environment, challenging all of us to use our voices for the greater good of society.

Rob Wonderling was honored at PPFF’s 10th annual awards banquet on May 11, 2016 at the West Shore Country Club in Camp Hill, PA.
