Little Buffalo (the park and the Friends) have big dreams and big plans – and big ticket items on their lists! In 2022, PPFF donors and supporters were able to make the dream of an accessible launch at the park a reality.

Installation of a truly accessible playground was “next up” on the list. Again, donors and supporters stepped up to make the purchase of the playground itself happen. However, site preparation is an expensive ticket item. In order to make the play equipment truly accessible for all users a special rubberized surface must be installed.

You can help make this dream a reality with a further contribution to the playground fund.

Tucked into the woods at the breast of the dam is the third project – restoration of the historic “way car” that once transported railroad workers on the line that ran through the park. It would make a wonderful environmental education classroom and exhibit. But it definitely needs some help in the restoration department! Check out photos and a little history of the car – railroad fans especially just might be moved to bring it back to life with a contribution!
