  • Song Contest
  • Down through the years, Mother Nature has inspired songwriters of every stripe and genre. From Appalachian folk songs of our hill country ancestors to modern rockers and country bands, from protest songs to poems of celebration, we love to sing of the outdoors. Enter the ERA50 song contest and give us all something to sing.

Read the rules and make your submission using the form below. Please note, we recommend sending a follow-up note to [email protected] to confirm receipt of your entry. You will not be able to send the file to the email address as size access is restricted; however, in the event technology fails, it will be helpful to confirm that your file has been uploaded properly.

    • Please check one of the acknowledgment boxes below certifying that you are either an adult OR as parent/guardian of a minor entrant. The parent/guardian name and either an email or telephone is required when the entrant is a minor.
    • I certify that I am over the age of 18 years and, as such, am entering the contest as an adult.
    • I certify that the song submitted with this entry was composed by an individual under the age of 18. I further represent that I am authorized to act as their parent/guardian and consent for the entry of this song into the contest. The entry should be judged for the special youth prize being awarded.
